Thanks again team for last night. I really appreciate the focus and interaction considering the length of the day for all of you. Some things to take away from last nights class:
1. Goals - be sure to spend some time this week getting into the curriculum at whatever grade level(s) you choose. It is important that we all have a clear understanding of the three goals. Start looking at the outcomes to see what makes each goal unique, but also how at times the goals intertwine. I would love to hear your thoughts on what you discover.
2. Blog posts - Take some time to look and comment on others posts. Remember, presentation is important as well as we move foreword. Include a picture and try your best to reference where that image is from. Also see if you can begin adding links into your post. I know that this is new to many of you. Keep at it! I think it is a great way to share and learn from each other.
3. Twitter - Remember to add a description and picture to your profile if you have not yet done so. If you are having trouble thinking of things to tweet do not feel that you need to. Instead spend some time searching and find some things to re tweet. Again, this will become more comfortable over time. It is important to embrace the change.
4. Mark Breakdown - Start thinking about the allocation of marks for each assignment. I will need that to be handed in to me as a hard copy in the coming weeks. It does not need to be anything extravagant.
